Set up in 2000, Solivar is focused on becoming a one-stop shop for  insurance companies that are looking for high quality and cost effective solutions to their business process issues. Within the insurance vertical, Solivar has identified a niche segment that is even more affected by the macro-economic factors that affect the insurance segment – factors like increased competition, greater degree of regulatory and compliance requirements and reduced margins. This niche segment comprises of Third Party Administrators ( TPAs ) and Brokers.  The service offerings in this segment are largely commoditized and forward-thinking players in this segment are trying to differentiate themselves from their competition by offering value-added services through an offshore model. Over the last 6 years, Solivar’s team members have successfully undertaken mission-critical and large scale solution implementation for Insurance clients ( more specifically TPAs and Brokers) in areas such as Property and Casualty (both Personal and Commercial Lines of Business, including Workers Compensation),  Life , Long-term/Short-term disability and Benefits management administration.

Solivar’s team comprises of individuals who have built a credible number of successful software products, some of which are currently ranked in Gartner’s Top Quadrant, as well as implemented fairly sophisticated projects across a spectrum of Industry verticals all the way from Hi-Tech Manufacturing, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals to Insurance and Retail. The team, starting from the promoters, has worked extensively in the US in these verticals and has a first-hand understanding of the major pain areas that companies in Insurance and Healthcare face. These include, but are not limited to, smart data capture and management, agent-carrier transactions, policy risk evaluation and management, trend analysis and forecasting,  Business Intelligence augmentation, Automation (for example Quoting, Underwriting and Claims facilitation), as well as adherence and compliance to Industry standards such as ACORD, HL7 and HIPPA .
